From early 2004 until 2007, Fridays at Aubergine proved to be the event that put Dtown on the map. For almost 4 years Dtown successfully promoted a weekly Friday night, something not many production companies can lay claim to.  In addition, Dtown has promoted events at every venue in the city including weekly events at Confidential, Stingaree, Side Bar, Voyeur, and currently Fridays at Hardrock San Diego.

Led by Kevin Brown and currently run by event mastermind Aaron Wellman, Dtown has continued to grow into the full scale production company that it is today.  Dtown provides our clientele with a full range of services that encompass every aspect of event production.  We strive to constantly maintain a great working relationship with everyone around us and make sure we provide the atmosphere that our clientele is looking for. A Message from Orange County Board of Supervisors Chairman John Moorlach

As you are aware, in 1994, Orange County fell into bankruptcy because its leaders weren’t paying attention to its risky investments.  I worked hard to expose the crisis, but by the time the leaders of the time were listening, it was too late.

As a result, the Orange County Employee’s Retirement System has an unfunded liability of $2.7 billion dollars.  This is money each of us as taxpayer’s owe, but that most of us were never made aware of.  This is due to irresponsible pension decisions made by elected officials from a different time.

I want to give an insurance policy to Orange County taxpayers will never get left holding the bag again because of backroom deals and pension decisions made in secret.

That’s why I led the effort to place Measure J on the November ballot.

Measure J would require a vote of the public to approve any new pension increase with the county’s employees. Measure J will require a complete actuarial study and full public disclosure of the impact of any new future pension increases.

• Measure J is assurance for the future that never again would there be future hidden debts to the taxpayer.

The Orange County Taxpayers Association has endorsed Measure J.
